Knee Pain: This could be a sign of arthritis (arthritis is the degeneration of joint cartilage), tendonitis or meniscus pathology. The meniscus is the “shock absorber” of the knee made of cartilage which allows the knee to move smoothly. Tendonitis is the inflammation of the tendon where it inserts to the bone. An orthopaedic specialist will be able to provide a diagnosis and treatment plan for your symptoms.
