I'm always bottling up my emotions. is this unhealthy?

Yes, in general: I think in general it is healthier to work through and express your feelings with a trusted person (e.g. Friend, loved one, psychologist) so that the feelings don't remain buried and come out in unwanted ways (e.g. Physical illness, resentment). You want to make sure that you are opening up to a safe person. Even better you might get more of what you want in life by sharing your feelings!
