A member asked:

How long is it supposed to it take for receding gums to come back?

They don't : When gums recede they don't grow back even if you eliminate the cause you should see a periodontist who can correct the recession by grafting tissue or using a membrane out of a box this is a plastic surgery procedure that works extremely well remember when the gums recede the underlying bone recedes as well weakening the support of the tooth.

You need care: Unfortunately, recession does not heal itself. See a periodontist to see if it needs to be attended to.
