A member asked:

Is it possible to dislocate hand bone due to fluid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fluid/dislocation: No. It is probably the other way around. If you injure a joint, the joint reacts by producing fluid. A fluid-filled joint might be more vulnerable (as in rheumatoid arthritis) but it is not the fluid that causes the dislocation. You have to tear a lot of supporting ligaments to produce a dislocation.
