Rabies deaths: Rabies is one of the worst infectious diseases in the world. Dying from it is particularly cruel, since it's not possible to drink water because of the symptoms of hydrophobia. So you're v. thirsty, but can't drink. There's an associated 'fear' too and a sense of doom. Terrible! Hopefully the world will eventually eliminate human and animal suffering from it. http://rabiesalliance.org/about-us/
