Nothing specific.: There is no specific food, diet or exercise that can increase platelets. When platelets are low the first test is to look at the blood smear to see if the machine "number" is correct. In general the number of platelets is not as important as the function of the platelets. One of the most common causes of low plates is medications you may be taking.
