What happens if an infected wound is left untreated and won't go away? what if you have had a tetanus shot within the last 5 years?

Infected wound: The germs from an infected would can enter into the blood stream and can seed various organ systems such as brain, heart, liver , kidneys, etc. Your tetanus shot is good for ten years but wont protect you from organisms like strep and staph. Dont be foolish and seek help.
