Depends on supp/med: Some medicines and supplements are far better absorbed on an empty stomach and some are best with food, so it really depends on the supplement or medicine. Some may cause some stomach upset on an empty stomach but most don't. L-glutathione is not well-absorbed orally unless it is in a liposomal form or in the acetyl-glutathione form, but it is better absorbed on an empty stomach than with food.
