Not worrisome: It's not worrisome for the monocytes to be slightly out of normal range, as long as the other components (wbc, hgb, platelets) are normal.

Not necessarily: It is better to look at the absolute count than the percentage to determine monocytosis. However, it can be caused by infections and autoimmune disorders most frequently and is benign. But this abnormality should be monitored because rarely could be an early sign of leukemia or other malignancy.
