Correct diagnosis: First, are you sure that this is the correct diagnosis? I find a torn hip flexor to be a relatively uncommon injury, although certainly possible. If after 10 months, it is still painful then an MRI or follow-up MRI could be helpful to assess for healing and rule out other causes of pain. If really the hip flexor, then a platelet-rich plasma injection could promote additional healing.
