I take asprin and had a severe fall impact to my hip 2 weeks ago while skateboarding. there is still swelling. should i continue putting ice on as per the rice theory? should i continue taking my daily dose of ecotrin.-asprin. please advise. im 41.

RICE: If the fall and injury was two weeks ago, then you do not need to put ice on for antiinflammatory purposes, but if this alleviates pain, you can. As for the aspirin, you can continue with this if this has been advised that you take by a PCP or cardiologist.
