Cannot diagnose: But this does not sound entirely benign and suggest that you see a doctor asap, particularly if you have fever, sensitivity to light, sound or have any other symptoms. With mitral valve prolapse you are at risk of having endocarditis (heart valve infection), and other possibilities may include meningitis (now chronic after 4 days). Please go and see somebody (use er if necessary) right away.
