Many reasons...: Newborns and infants often have rashes-some of these are benign and go away with no treatment and others require further evaluation and need medication. Your best option is to take your baby to the pediatrician for an evaluation.

Don't know: Can be heat rash or a virus or a reaction to something you ate if breast feeding or something baby ate (if other than formula or breast milk). If concerned see your doctor and have it evaluated.
