Throat culture: It can not be said for certain if you have a bacterial infection of your throat which can be treated with antibiotics unless you get a throat culture. Viral infections can not be treated with antibiotics although there are some meds available for early treatment of the flu. Please drink a lot of fluids, rest, get good nutrition, and go to a medical clinic for an exam as soon as possible!
