Shattered elbow 6 yr ago. repaired w 8 screws/ 1plate. now " electrical" type pain if press next to it. any ideas?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ulnar neuropathy: The ulnar nerve is the "funny bone nerve" and passes through a groove in the elbow. Even if your injury was years ago, there may have been a change in the anatomy that caused the ulnar nerve to be more susceptible to injury. Elbow pads would be one simple treatment option. Consider seeing a neurologist and having an EMG test to see if the nerves are healthy.
