Achilles Tendon: There are a lot of options prior to surgery for achilles tendon calcification pathology. Physical therapy, wearing supportive open backed shoes, antiinflammatory medications, rest. Although you may be at risk for heel cord rupture, it's not definitive.

Surgery: Surgery should be the last option considering you have no pain. If you develope it down the road then surgery is an option but for now, leave it alone. Hope this helps.
