Not usually: Stimulants usually help with attention and organization. In fact i will make sure patients are treated for anxiety before starting stimulants as stimulants can make anxiety worse. I see you are taking wellbutrin (bupropion) which is more likely to help with anxiety and/or depression. I applaud you on including behavioral therapy as one of your treatments. I wish you well. Good luck.

May be a problem: If your feelings of anxiety and unhappiness are a result of the problems caaused by ADHD, you may get relief with Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). If they are not related to your aDHD, then Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) and all other stimulants may increase your anxiety and unhappiness. Speak to your doctor about your concerns before starting a stimulant.
