Nerve block: This can cause pain for 6+ months. Do not underestimate how much the area needs to be guarded in order to heal. Pain medicine doesn't seem to help much. Talk to your physician about getting a nerve block to the area by a specialist. If the nerve block works, you might be to get it ablated to shut it down permanently.
