2 ways: 1. A single egg and a single sperm create a single embryo that splits in two very early in pregnancy. 2. Two eggs are ovulated and each gets fertilized with a separate sperm.

Yes: You might be able to work until you deliver. It really will be a week to week assessment. Some women have no problems during a twin pregnancy while other women may develop preterm labor or blood pressure issues that necessitate bedrest.

Fertiltiy treatment: Fertility treatment accounts for half of twins today. The other half are from ovulation of two eggs, fraternal twins, or an embryo split, identical twins. The risks of a twin pregnancy, to both baby and mother, are higher than a singleton, so get the facts before pursuing multiples!

Same way: You should were the seatbelt the same way during pregnancy no matter how many fetuses you are carrying. The hip belt should be over the hip and the shoulder strap should be over the shoulder.

Today's shoulder belt originated from a near fatal accident involving a pregnant car executives wife using only the lap belt. It was designed around the needs of pregnancy.
