Depends: Where the surgery was and if you are non weight bearing. If you are walking on it then yes and if procure was to heel or close get new cast.

No: Since you are nonweight bearing, there is no immediate need to get the cast changed unless it's wet or falling apart. Even though it's the heel and you may pivot and sleep on that area of the cast, it shouldn't do any damage to the surgical area. Unless the cast is causing you physical pain or discomfort, no need to get it changed so quick, just wait until next follow up.
