Liver troubles?: This is a difficult problem. Have you had weight loss? Is there a family history of this problem? There could be troubles with digestion, motility, or even colonic inertia. There are other metabolic problems as well such as malabsorption syndrome or porphyria. I would try to see a gastrointestinal specialist.
