Bacteremia: After draining an abscess sometimes the bacteria that was in the abscess gets into the blood stream and causes symptoms such as what you describe. Hopefully you are on some antibiotics. If not please contact your md and let he/she know about your symptoms. If you are and this doesnt resolve..Let your doc know as well.

Maybe: Abscesses are skin infections and can cause symptoms such as fevers and chills. Once an abscess is drained, generally the infection rapidly resolves and all symptoms, including fever and chills, dissipate. I would not expect fever to persist longer than 24 hours after abscess drainage. You should be re-evaluated by your physician if persistent fever or any other concerns.
