Dislocated ankle injury a month ago their still swelling and pain how long before fully healed and swelling and pain to go away?

It can be at least 3: Months before it fully heals and swelling will be greatly reduced, but the swelling may take upto 6 months to fully resolve. A lot depends upon the treatment given so far, and the splintage/casting used. Keep it elevated and keep with your crutches for nonweight bearing, till released by your orthopod.

Everyone: Heals at a different rate and depends on the treatment you got. Find out how much soft tissue damage you got, that may be the answer to your question and repeat mri.
