Diagnose first: The first and most important step is to see a healthcare provider to diagnose the type of fracture you have. If it is a non-displaced fracture, no treatment may be necessary. If there is displacement of the fracture, the location and type of fracture(s) can dictate what surgical approach will be used. Afterwards, healing is dependent upon a healthy diet and following postop instructions.
