Cheekbone Fracture: Treatment will vary depending on the type of fracture (nondisplaced, displaced, simple, comminuted). It is always best to be able to reduce the fracture to its original shape and form. A thorough discussion should be had with your facial trauma surgeon.

Few options: After the nasal bone, the zygomatic is the second most common bone of the face to be fractured. Some cases are managed conservatively with prophylactic antibiotics. If there is greater than 50% of the orbital floor involved or double vision surgery is warranted. Take care.
