Depends: Some cases of seminoma can present as a primary tumour outside the testis, most commonly in the mediastinum. It is usually managed with radiation and chemotherapy and often requires orchiectomy, but without knowing your overall evaluation and extent of disease it is best answered by your oncologist or urologist.
