Some are, some not: Some herbs are safe in pregnancy and some are not. You need a very experienced harbalist to know. I would not make a general claimthat herbs from any particular tridition (mongolian, chinese, western etc) are safe in pregnancy. Be very careful. Even some accupunture points can be unwise to use in pregnancy.

Acupuncture: Sorry - i can't answer about mongolian herbs. However many women have acupuncture through out their pregnancies. There are only a few points that need to be avoided during pregnancy and any acupuncturist should be aware of which acupuncture points to avoid. Enjoy.
