You should be ok: Typically i recommend a woman take the first 7 pills in her pill pack before she has unprotected sex, so on the 8th day you should be okay. Oral contraceptives, when used perfectly, still only have a 94-96% chance of preventing pregnancy, so even if you're perfect, there's always a chance of pregnancy. If you're super worried, you can always use a condom in addition to pills.
