A member asked:

Is a "meat free" diet really better for autoimmune conditions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Autoimmune disease: It is unlikely that a vegetarian diet can alter the course of autoimmune disease, as the the cause of such diseases remains elusive on why the body turns on itself. There are several theories that are debated but none have been proven yet with certainty.
