Ask your doctor: The physician performing this procedure is far and away the best source of information, although they may not be able to give you definitive predictions. You'll be okay: You will definitely be okay. Most clinicians will not treat, that is, remove a sliver of your cervix at your age. New guidelines came out regarding treatment of CIN 2 in your age group recently. Make sure that you speak with your doctor regarding whether you need a procedure to remove a portion of your cervix or not. Most CIN 2 resolves in women at your age.
