Rash behind ears: A rash on the back of the ears is most likely seborrheic dermatitis which is very common on the scalp of neonates and is known as 'cradle cap'. 1% Hydrocortisone cream twice daily for up to a week at a time often works. If this doesn't work, see your pediatrician. If you meant back of the "head", it is probably a nevus flammeus nuchae or "stork bite" and no creams will help.
