might the lack of crescent moon on my nails mean a b12 deficiency?

It might but...: I searched & found sites claiming lack of lunula indicate B12 deficiency but have found no objective evidence to support this- it may be true for some but there is no proof. Others say it means hypothyroidism or poor circulation. I don't think anyone knows for sure! see http://www.Healingwell.Com/community/default.Aspx?F=30&m=1630799 & http://www.Normanallan.Com/med/askdr/finger.Html#moons.
