Not anemic yet: Your B12 is low. Sometimes anemia can develop later, usually associated to a high MCV (size of red cells). Some patients develop mostly neurological deficits and not anemia. The question is why is your B12 low? Malabsorption? Blind loop syndrome? Chronic gastritis? Ask your doctor if he knows that in your case.
