What type of brace should i use for my peroneus brevis tendon injury. i have a ankle brace with rigid sides and laces up tried it but didn't help much?

Not sure: Which exact brace you have, but you want to make sure the brace does come up the foot ad not just the ankle. The peroneus brevis attaches at the 5th metatarsal base, so you would want the brace to extend beyond this if possible.

Other options. : Get back to your podiatrist for other options. There's more than just one type of brace and treatment may include physical therapy.
