A member asked:

Are nuts a good agents for reducing one's cholestrol?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No : Nuts are recommended as part of a helthy diet including the mediterranean diet which is associated with a reduction in mortality from heart disease. But eating extra nuts also adds extra calories and must be figured in to the whole equation. They're beneficial as part of a balanced diet.
