I recently started taking celexa (citalopram) 40mg once a day and i don't know if this is because of the medicine but there's vaginal pain when i rub my clitoris?

Celexa (citalopram): Increased clitoral sensitivity is not listed as a side effect of celexa (citalopram). However, ssri's can impact sexual function. If you are applying more pressure to your clitoris of if it is for a longer period than normal - this could lead to discomfort. If you have an increase in vaginal/ clitoral issues - than please seek advice of your gynecologist.
