Nonunion fracture: Hi again. A fibrous nonunion has fibrous soft tissue between the fracture fragments. Reasons can be infection, instability, too much motion, smoking, low nutrition (ex. Low albumin), high impact injury, previous open fracture trauma, or too much displacement. Hope that helps!
