Please ask your: Surgeon first. It is a common medication used in dentistry for anxiety and other issues. Always inform the treating doctor about your medications. Please don't take a valium without informing your dentist. Consult w your treating dental surgeon about this question and discuss dosage & other meds. There are other medications that may be better for your situation. Thanks for asking! hope this helps!
