Effort: I don't know if it's necessarily stronger. It is complimentary to physical strength and in sports and physical tasks absolutely necessary for improved performance. I think mental strength takes greater effort to use effectively while physical tasks are routine and repetitious. Procedures are easy to reenact, but a mental task within a physical task may change each application.
