Early menopause: Normal age for menopause is 52. Depending on individual circumstances premature menopause can happen as early as 35. If the lack of periods is due to ovarian failure, than it means that the ovaries have run out of eggs and ovulation is unlikely.If the absence of periods is due to another cause like stress, thyroid or adrenal dysfunction, then correcting the imbalance could restore ovarian function.
