Not likely, unless..: Suboxone, like any other medication is safe over the long term when taken for the right reason, in the appropriate dosage. Under proper medical supervision, while avoiding substances (including meds) that might make a dangerous combination with it.

No: Suboxone can be used for long term. You would need to follow your doctor's guidance and not mixing Suboxone with other opiates. Like other opiates, Suboxone has addiction potential.
