A possibility: Sinus surgery is not always necessary for chronic sinus problems. Your ENT specialist should examine you in the office and perform a sinus ct scan to identify the cause of your sinus problems. If there are blockages in your nose and sinuses, then surgery would definitely help. If not then your symptoms may be due to chronic allergies and allergy management would be the right thing to do.
