Possibilities: Gallbladder disease or infection, appendicitis. Probably good to get checked today, even er, since can be something bad.

See below: There are a variety of causes, depending on how long you have had it. Gallbladder condition can have repeated episodes over months. Gastritis can cause frequent more mild irritation. Appendicitis can be severe pain that quickly gets worse over 24 to 48 hours. Hernias can rarely cause some pains. Need to see a doctor for an examination.
