Back pain: It could be muscles or the joints if the pain is not radiating to the legs. Any tingling, numbness or weakness means a pinched nerve. Localized pain is most likely muscular and should get better with heat/ice, local ointments such as ben-gay, massage or exercise and stretching. Regular gentle aerobics or swimming is the beat exercise.
