Many reasons: This can be from bubble baths or tight/synthetic underwear. If she's been on antibiotics it could be yeast overgrowth. It can also be a uti. It can be part of natural exploration for her to touch there. Sometimes there could be a crayon or other thing that she put there. If you are ever worried that your child is not safe, seek help immediately. If the pain persists or you see blood, see a doctor.
