IVF and HSG: If you underwent ivf, you had the eggs removed and then fertilized. The embryos are transferred directly to your uterus so why are you having a hsg now? The hsg would be evaluating whether your fallopian tubes are open. If your doctor saw a cyst next to your ovary during the ivf cycle. Then you may need to find out if the tube is open and can do that with the next cycle.
