Gastroenteritis: As a diabetic you need to be concerned about dehydration, electroyte imbalance and Insulin requirements. Make an appointment with your doctor to make sure you dont derail.

Yes: Need to be sure you don't have any complication like a hyperoamolar or ketotic state from diabetes and evaluate you with an ekg. Please, see a doctor asap.
