A member asked:

Hi, i am from south india. now it is 2 days my uncle is put on a ventilator, has breathing difficulty, heart pumping rate is low, has diabetes, liver damage, kidney failure, is his chance of survival low?

Difficult to say: Without a full review of his history & records it is hard to say. For some this is the last stage of an illness and further efforts just prolong the process of dying. For others it is a transient setback from which many return to their previous baseline. This is a question that is best answered by the doctors taking care of him.
