Lay off carbs: Lay off all carbs (sugars and starches) including fruit. Drink plenty of fluids and drink 1 can of 5.5 oz v8 juice twice a day as a snack and in order to boost sodium levels during the diuresis that can accompany initial weight loss with a low carb approach. You need to be followed closely by a doctor if you have chronic medical conditions, especially diabetes, high blood pressure, gout, seizures.
