If it's active: If you are actively contagious, yes- ethically, you should not travel since it can be transmitted by contact with contaminated objects. Certainly, if left untreated typhoid can sometimes kill you due to dehydration and electrolyte abnormalities-that would stop anyone from going on vacation.
